A day's walk from l'Essaure. There is an exposed path that climbs on the Die side, but generally one comes from the plateaus via the GR. Note that the cabin is no longer on the GR. Note that it is located on a rather rounded, hilly ridge and the shelter is really in a hollow.
No water. The cabin belongs to the shepherd and is reserved for him. He leaves part of it open for emergencies. Access is reserved from June to September by the shepherd. Dogs are not allowed. Pending confirmation from the town hall. On the other side of the area reserved for the shepherd, at the back of the barn, behind the tarpaulin, behind the blanket, behind the door, a small space has been fully renovated, insulated and fitted out. 2 large bunks, box-benches and chairs, a table, a stove, a saw, a splitting maul, and even sleds. Lighting and USB port (not guaranteed).
