The hut is located within the perimeter of the Grand Ventron Massif National Nature Reserve. As such, overnight stays are prohibited. Article 20 of Decree No. 89-331 of 22 May 1989 states: "Camping, whether in a tent, a vehicle or any other shelter, is prohibited." This regulation also applies to the chalets of Wintergès, Blancs Murgers (side 88), Pionniers, and Bockloch (side 68).
