On the immediate edge of the well-marked hiking trail (Mare à Mare Nord/Sentier Île-Rousse Corte) which, starting from the citadel of Corte towards the west, goes up the left bank of the Tavignanu river (direction A Sega). The shelter is clearly visible in a small clearing when crossing the Antia stream (or Anchja; possible water point, but sometimes dry in summer), about 45 minutes' walk from Corte.
Shelter made of stone and masonry, waterproof roof, some draughts (gaps in the door and shutters). Facilities: fireplace area, no furniture left (after June 2016). No dry wood stored, but dead wood nearby, pipe bringing water from an upstream spring (06/2020, 05/2021, 05-10/2022, 04-10/2023). Fire risk: sensitive protected natural area. Keep the place clean.
