Access

Former pastoral site easily spotted on a clear flat area, to the east slightly overlooking the col d'Acqua Fredda. Access via an irregularly cairned path that roughly follows the ridge, from Punta Salisei to the west (overlooking the Tra Mare e Monti trail) to the col de Melza to the east (on a variant of the Tra Mare e Monti), bypassing Capu Manganellu to the south.

Good to know

Status as of 07/2018: rudimentary shelter, no furniture, ~9 m². Good waterproofing, door closes properly: remember to close it when leaving, otherwise the beaten earth floor will quickly be covered with livestock droppings... (sweep or lay a tarp to protect yourself)
