From Petit Bornand, at the "Morat" locality, a forest trail allows access in about 2h30 (follow the belvedere signs). Access is also possible from the "les Combettes" locality via a steep and exposed trail.
Appears abandoned: everything seems frozen for years (except for bird or wasp nests!), however: - Infrastructure and framework in good condition, as well as the tin roof. - Dusty floor but in very good condition. - Planks walls with gaps that let everything through (hence the reason: a wall is missing, see photos). No equipment except for unusable tool remnants, a table missing two legs and a large sled in the center (probably a log sled). Fabric and carpet debris are rotting in a corner: likely remnants of an occupation dating back at least a millennium! The ground-level access, maintained closed by a removable door acting as a lid, makes access difficult or even impossible in case of significant snowfall. Can serve as shelter in case of storm or rain.
