In the commune of Vieugy, head towards the residential area of Eau Vive at the place called l'Enfer. Take a small stony path towards "Les Jets". The path quickly becomes a small asphalt road for only 200 m. The path is then closed to traffic by a prefectural order. Follow the forest track: the shelter is on the connecting path between Vieugy and Quintal. It is located exactly at the 651 m elevation point on the IGN 3431OT Lac d'Annecy map, at the crossroads of 4 paths, near the information boards, in a corner of a field, hidden by trees.
Basic shelter (meant for horses?) to be used in case of bad weather, for example. It is not of great interest given its proximity to civilisation. A simple open shelter like those found in the Vosges, in a corner of a field, offering the bare minimum, with an earthen floor. The owner is very kind as long as you leave the spot clean and do not light a fire. Ideal for hanging hammocks (max 7).
