Numerous possible access routes: via Sallanches, via the Col de la Grande Forcle, via Croise Baulet, etc.
Very small cabin located about 20 minutes' walk slightly southeast of the Col de Niard (1801 m) heading towards Croise Baulet. A few other cabins surround it but they are all closed. The cabin is divided into 2 parts: a closed section on the left reserved for the shepherd during the summer grazing season. The other section, on the right, consists of a simple room with a door, a window and a bench running the length of the cabin. A fold-down table is attached to the wall. No other furniture inside. The cabin is completely empty. Sleeping on the floor (clean, wooden slats) is possible for a maximum of 2 people. It is very small! Large wooden table outside in front of the cabin. Good insulation (stone foundations, wooden walls). Bring all your own sleeping equipment as nothing is provided in the cabin!
