Via the Golet de Doucy, just below the Dent des Portes, or via the Combe d'Ire on the other side.
Now open again, the interior matches the photos. A sign indicates that the shelter is provided by the owners' syndicate of the Chalet du Planay. The building is located just opposite the [->73] (closed shelter) and offers only a corridor leading to a small windowless room. The interior is lined with wood, making it a (almost...) cozy spot... though one shouldn't exaggerate. There is no furniture except for 8 mattresses, including one double mattress, enough for 9 people to sleep. Little comfort, but you stay dry, the space is healthy, not damp, and you are protected from the weather. Although there is a water trough nearby, obtaining water is not easy, and hikers are clearly not a priority compared to the cows in the alpine pasture. You must let the water run and then collect it in the trough, which is not very practical... The [->9166] sometimes allows for water resupply. Mobile network: None.
