In the centre of the small village of Petit Bornand, take a road to the right (if arriving from St Jean de Sixt) which is not very well signposted as the signs are a little set back from the road: direction "Puze, Paradis, Cenise". Follow the small road that climbs and winds (caution: narrow and very winding road, some bends must be taken very wide if you do not want to have to try several times!) following the "Cenise" direction to the end, for 8 km. The road is almost entirely paved, except for a 100 m section of dirt/gravel and the very last part to reach the refuge. Caution: road not cleared of snow in winter. It is advisable to park in the first car park, 5 minutes' walk from the refuge if arriving by car (as there is little space at the chalet itself).
Chalet with bar, restaurant and overnight stays. Capacity: 19 people (including 6 double rooms). Showers. No facilities open in winter. Good starting point to climb to [->2476], the Rochers de Leschaux or to reach [->393].
