The Malatrait lodge, also known as the Passant lodge, is a private stage lodge run by Claire and Théo Seigneuric. It is located in the commune of Le Reposoir, in Haute-Savoie.

Access

4 km below the Col de la Colombière on the Reposoir side, take a forest path of 800 m, including 500 m drivable (signposted 'gîte du Passant').

Good to know

The lodge was destroyed by a fire on 9 April 2024. Reconstruction is underway for an opening in July 2026. The operation will change radically, with only the possibility of renting the entire lodge, which has a capacity of 95 beds, for events (weddings, seminars, etc.). No dormitory is planned, hikers will not find what they need.
