From Le Lignon, good trail in 2h30. From the Châtelet (Plaine-Joux-Passy), 3h30 via the chalets d'Ayères and the Dérochoir pass.

Good to know

Small new huts (2002) replacing the old hut destroyed by an avalanche in 1998. Located within the nature reserve. Very busy, booking required. Fountain in the middle of the group of huts. Open from 16 June to 16 September and weekends until 07 October. No winter room.
