The Cabane de la Béranne is an unguarded hut managed by a shepherd. It is located in the Hautes-Alpes, in the commune of Villar-Loubière.

From l'Ubac via the Vallon de Prentic. From the Vallon de Navette via the Brèche de la Béranne. From the chapel in Valgaudemar (or Les Andrieux) via the Col de Pétarel.
The sleeping platforms are about 1.80 m long. A spring 100 m down the path, and another spring at the same level as the hut, on the opposite side of the path. Some firewood (it is in the park and very high, so it is difficult to find). A table, 2 benches, a Gaudin stove (works very well). Saw. The broom was missing as of December 2016.
