Accessible from Le Séchier via the trail of the Vallon du Cros. Take the track of the Vallon du Cros then the path leading off to the left. After 100 m, take a path on the left again (do not enter the Vallon du Cros) and follow it as best as possible. Towards the end, before descending into the cirque du Chasserand, the trail is hard to follow: do not hesitate to climb slightly along the Eygli ridge to reach the hut. It is also possible to start from La Chaup or L'Ubac according to comments left in the guestbook.
Comfortable hut, well rebuilt by a technical high school teacher from the region and his students. According to memory (to be confirmed): 3 places with mattresses, a stove. IGN indicates water sources about 500 m away to the east.
