By road: From Briançon take the direction of Montgenèvre. After about 2 km turn left towards Val des Prés, "Clarée valley" to reach Névache. At the exit of Névache, take the road to the "upper Clarée valley" and follow it to the Laval parking lot, which is the end point. The hut is located downhill, nestled against a rock. Attention: the road is regulated in summer from mid-July to the end of August, check with the Névache Tourist Office. In winter, the road stops at Ville Haute. Park and walk along the snow-covered road on foot, with snowshoes, cross-country skis or ski touring equipment.
