From Gavarnie, allow 1 hour of walking. Go up the torrent on the left towards the cirque. Pass to the right of the torrent at the level of the Brioule bridge. 400m further on, take the path that rises to the left. The chalet is much higher up, after about an hour you will pass a fountain, 5 minutes later, at a junction (1742m) turn right towards the chalet.
