By train: SNCF station in Lourdes, then bus Luz - Gèdre - Gavarnie (one round trip per day all year round). Timetables may be adjusted according to periods to align with school transport outside local holidays. The chalet is guarded from mid-December to the end of October. The chalet offers 50 beds in shared rooms of 1 to 12 places, a dining room with a fireplace, a meeting room, a terrace, a self-management space and a priority bivouac area for youth camps. Online booking is available on the chalet's website. Bivouac possible for 15€.
