Access

From Cauterets, head towards the Pont d'Espagne. Park in the large car park. Walk up the pedestrian path for 300 m, then take a path that climbs to the left towards Lac de Gaube. Cross the lake and continue to a large cirque at the foot of the Vignemale. The hut is on the left side of the cirque, after crossing the stream.

Hut built between 1962 and 1964, renovated in 2007 and in 2026. It has a large dining room with a library, games, and a large south-facing terrace overlooking the Vignemale. 7 dormitories with 6 to 30 beds. 30 places outside the guardian period at 8 € per night. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
