From Cauteret, head towards the Pont d'Espagne. Park in the large car park. Continue along the Marcadau valley.
The mountain hut was taken over by new managers in 2010. Worth testing as the Marcadau valley is one of the most beautiful in the Pyrenees. Also very useful for a long-distance trek. It has all the facilities of a large mountain hut (dining rooms, dormitories, sanitary facilities, showers, etc.). Reopened after major renovation work on 19 August 2022.
