Access

From Mont-Saint-Martin, follow the usual trail leading to the refuge des Bannettes. The cabin is 50 meters east of the trail and 20 meters south of the clairière de l'Echaillon.

Good to know

Basic shelter with no furniture except for a plank and two large stones used as a bench. Old stove in pieces. Dirt floor. No nearby water source. Stone wall halfway up, clad with poorly joined planks, corrugated iron roof that appears watertight. No doors, windows or shutters. The north wall has been damaged by a fallen tree.
