Access

From the Col de la Charmette, head towards Les Bannettes. Upon reaching the Pré-Large rock (a cave visible from the trail), turn left, climb a small hill and enter the forest in that direction. Approach walk from the Charmette parking lot: 1h20 in summer / 2h00 in winter.

Good to know

Small wooden cabin deep in the forest. Large wood reserve. Various equipment: table, 2 chairs, plexiglass windows, axe, saw, etc. 2 separate beds downstairs, 1 bed upstairs. No water nearby. A stove that burns well after starting. Peace and quiet guaranteed (few people know of its existence).
