Via the Col de la Placette (Trois Fontaines) in 3 hours, 1 hour from the Jusson chalet to the northwest and 1 hour from the Bannettes refuge to the south. Approximately 3 hours from the Col de la Charmette via the Col de la Sure (north). Access by public transport: bus stop at Col de la Placette. Marked trail to reach Trois Fontaines. GSM networks: no signal in the cabin or immediate surroundings. Move west towards point 1555 m for about 150/200 m, climbing a small hill until you can see the woods at the top of the Hérétang valley. Weak signal but sufficient for voice calls on the Orange network. Quite spartan compared to its cousins Jusson (north) and Bannettes (south), it is an annex to the shepherd’s hut. Equipment: sleeping platforms, table-benches, 2 saws in good condition, 1 axe with only the head remaining, brooms, drying rack, 1 blanket. Door and window close properly. Four mattresses. Little firewood available nearby. May be occupied by the shepherd in summer.
