This route has two variants described in both ascending directions, respectively in part B (access via [->2714]) and part C (access via the Jusson chimney). The hike starts at the place called Les Trois Fontaines, which can be reached in a few kilometers from the Col de la Placette (itself reached from Voreppe or Saint-Laurent-du-Pont via D520a). A path allows bypassing the Pas de la Miséricorde: in the ascent of Les Trois Fontaines, in a scree area, leave the trail heading right towards the pass and take another trail towards Les Pierres Droites. Upon reaching Les Pierres Droites (on the shoulder), take the poorly marked path that heads northeast along the flank. It will climb in switchbacks further on, through an easy passage. Do not lose this path as there are bars to cross. Approximately 2 hours. Access by public transport: Access to the pass by public transport is via line 7000 or the TAD C line, which must be notified in advance. Bus stop at Col de la Placette. Exceptional comfort. The building is fairly new and well insulated. Water source 250 m to the NNE. Equipment: one large table with a bench and a school chair, one small table with very fragile legs, one very small broom, one shovel, one small broom (missing a "normal" handle to replace the piece of wood), 8 sleeping places on mattresses spread over 12 separable mattresses, 2 blankets, one ground mat, 12 pots, 2 lids, various kitchen utensils, assorted dishes, 8 barbecue-type grills, 3 operational but worn-out saws (poorly sharpened), one hatchet, one old sleeping bag. The door, once closed, still lets air through. Mobile network: relatively good in general; standing on the porch is enough to get a signal. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
