Take the D105 road from Pomarey to the Col de la Charmette. Leave it at the 901m point for a track on the left. After crossing the Tenaison via a footbridge, immediately take a path on the right. After passing the former upper station of the Crozet quarry, it enters a narrow valley then leaves it on the right to join a forest track. Follow it (or take a good shortcut) to reach Les Marcellières. At the foot of a meadow, a new path departs to the right, descending slightly, leading to a clearing where the cabin stands. Access is also possible via the Col de la Charmette.
The cabin has rustic charm but is poorly insulated, with transparent plastic coverings on the windows that are either poorly fixed or slightly torn. As rightly noted by Claude Mauguier in his comment dated 16/01/2020: "Multiple holes, gaps, etc. adorn the roof corners, the gaps in the window frames, and all available spaces". The furniture consists of two tables, benches, folding chairs, and a stove (tested by Claude Mauguier - see his comment dated 16/01/2020). A loft accessible by a ladder serves as sleeping space for 5 people. Also note the presence of a shovel, a broom without a handle... but no saw or axe for cutting wood. Outside: a shed for storing and cutting wood and a small dog shelter. Mobile network: weak or intermittent signal, better in some sections of the access route.
