Access

From Planfay, follow the forest road (closed to traffic), before reaching the large Girieux meadows (two shelters), leave the Pinéa track on the right, then the Girieux shelter, then take a muddy track on the right that cuts the last bend of the track before the wood depot. The hut is uphill on the right. From the Col de la Charmette (parking), take the forest track heading due south, which rises gently. Pass the Fontaine Claire (signpost) and continue due south. You eventually arrive at a wood depot. The hut is uphill on the right.

Good to know

Dirt floor, spacious for 5 places but not suitable for sleeping. Useful in bad weather.
