Access

Upon arrival on the plateau overlooking the EDF building (former upstream cable car station) next to the Lac Carré dam, turn left while keeping the dam in sight. There is a sheepfold and the building to the right. Both are shown on the Top 25 maps as black parallelograms.

Good to know

Can serve as a makeshift shelter. Open window, one wall appears to provide partial shelter near the windows and at the back. The floor is earthen. Fire can be made (provided you have fuel) without risk of damaging the building, which is truly abandoned and in poor, rustic and robust condition.
