Via Prelenfrey and forest roads to a certain point, or more pleasantly, via the Col de l'Arzelier to the Chemin des Balcons Est, then along the flanks on these balconies to the Baraque des Clos.
A concrete hut in 2 parts, the upper floor (under the roof) is open. It is just a wooden floor and two sloping roof sections, but the whole is welcoming. 3 benches, a table, shelves and a few pots. A broom, shovels and a small handsaw in poor condition. A stove with good draft (especially since the chimney pipe was repaired in 2016). 3 candle holders for candles. Overlooking view of Prelenfrey. Avalanche-prone area in winter but the rock above the hut seems to provide good protection. Water point: more information on the [->10727] sheet. Another alternative seems to be (in September) the spring flowing in front of the [->33], 1.8 km to the south. Citizen work carried out in June 2016: interior walls repainted white and stove pipe reviewed.
