The Font Bessou forest hut is an unguarded hut located in the Arzelier massif, in the commune of Château-Bernard in Isère. It is publicly owned.

Access

From the Col de l'Arzelier, head west to the parking area of La Rousse. Then follow the Arzelier forest track. Upon reaching the "Font Bessou - 1253m" junction, take the marked track to the right, followed by an old path leading to the hut.

Good to know

Only a table and two benches are provided as equipment. Poor insulation if the shutters of the two windowless windows are opened. Attic accessible via a trapdoor at the back and outside the hut. However, a ladder is missing to climb up.
