South-west side of Col du Claran via the GR 738. Access also from Le Collet d'Allevard.

Good to know

Very well located for the Grand Charnier via the normal route or more simply the Petit Charnier. It is also well placed for the pedestrian crossing of the massif as well as for the tour of the Allevard area. During hunting season (autumn), on weekends, the hut is often occupied by hunters.
