Easiest access in 1 hour via a good balcony trail (GR54 Variante) from the AYMES parking lot (1275m) above Mizoën in Oisans. (Large parking area at the "combe du lavoir" site after crossing the hamlet of Aymes). The path requires some attention and may not be suitable for young children (a safety rope may be necessary due to the often steep slope along the path and its sometimes exposed sections). The village of Mizoën is 20 minutes from La Grave and 20 minutes from Bourg d'Oisans above Lake Chambon (convenience store in the village). VFD buses stop at Chambon Dam. A trail connects to Mizoën. Easy access from the top of the CAMBON climbing routes of the Pisse waterfall. Via Ferrata project underway. GPS coordinates UTM/WGS84 32T- 278140 - 4991630 - IGN Top25 map 3336 ET
Open in summer only: from mid-June to early September on a permanent basis, otherwise by reservation. (Completely closed in winter: avalanche-prone access!)
