From Lescun, drive up the road towards the Caillou du Curé, continue to the Masousa parking lot at the Pont Lamareich and leave the car there. The brave will continue by car for 2 km along a track to the Pont Lamary parking lot, the others will do it on foot. Then take, for 1 hour, the mini-track leading to the D'Ansabère huts. At a flat area, at 1363 m, leave the track to the right and follow a well-marked trail on the left bank of a stream, which leads in 30 minutes to the Pédain huts.
One hut for hikers and one shepherd's hut. The hiker's hut, modest and poorly insulated, has mattresses for 3, a fireplace. The shepherd's hut, reserved for him all summer, has a living room with a table for 6, a stove, and very good insulation. A room with a maximum of 4 beds is open in winter. Electricity and water are cut off in winter. A small permanent stream can be found nearby, by going up the valley.
