From Les Escaldes (between Dorres and Angoustrine), take the GRP tour du Carlit until reaching a 4×4 exploitation track. Follow the track that goes uphill to the left for 1 km.
Very old construction similar to [->3500], likely recently rebuilt as it is in perfect condition. The patina of a few fires in the hearth and the fact that it is still used by shepherds add to the illusion. In this case, the layout and materials would date back to the late 19th century and it may have served as a refuge for hikers coming from Font-Romeu. In the first room: a fireplace, a table, three small benches. A door (hidden by the front door when it is open) leads to a 2 m × 2 m bedroom. An inflatable mattress (the only way to sleep on the cut stone flooring) is suspended from a clothesline.
