500 m after Angoustrine (direction Font-Romeu), take the road to the left just before crossing the stream. Continue for 3 km. At the bend, continue 50 m straight ahead (GRP tour du Carlit). The hut is on the edge of the trail, next to the Saint-Martin-d'En-Valls chapel.
A rudimentary corner fireplace, a table, two chairs, a bench, a one-person sleeping platform at floor level with a plastic mattress cover, two floor mats and a duvet. The floor is made of concrete, slightly damp, and the roof is starting to deteriorate under the corrugated iron. The overall conditions are not very welcoming. Behind the hut, in a meadow, there is a picnic table and a permitted fire area with a grill. Mobile network coverage is available from Orange and Free.
