From Beaufort, head towards Choseaux and follow a winding small road that climbs into the Bois de Marcot. At a hairpin bend (at 1221 m), turn right and continue on the paved path. A small sign indicates the shelter located below the path, on the right while ascending, via a small trail of about a hundred meters (in poor condition in places).
