From Moliessoulaz, as for the Steussets. A significant number of forest tracks have been opened for ONF works. The trail network can sometimes be confusing. The use of all motorized vehicles is PROHIBITED by a Municipal Decree in forest areas, except for local residents (foresters, breeders, hunters). In addition to barriers, frequent patrols by ONF guards and local hunters (who have restored the huts and leave them open), even on Sundays, may result in unpleasant surprises for offenders. Therefore, ask at the Town Hall or the ACCA of Queige... IN WINTER: The large valley facing the hut and the entire slope above it are highly exposed to AVALANCHES.
This forest shelter has recently been restored. A single large room with 2 chairs, a table, various accessories, a sleeping platform (only two mattresses, plus a 90 cm base to place on the floor). An outdoor table near the fountain, with two benches. Broom, various tools. Water is available at the fountain a few meters away. Firewood in the forest. Toilets are located downhill to the east of the hut, a small sign indicates the direction. The opening of this shelter depends on how it is used by visitors... according to a hunter with whom I spoke for an hour.
