Access by car via the road to the Margeriaz ski resort. In a hairpin bend, take a left onto an unmarked forest track until the sign prohibiting further access. Access on foot from the GR 96 between Aillon and the Col de la Verne (2 choices - see map - the forest track coming from the Margériaz road has been extended to the Combe de la Verne where the GR passes). Starting point for a discovery trail of the "tannes" (caves) and the Baugu karst (leaflet available at the Aillon-le-Jeune park and tourist office).
A renovated cabin, a shelter, dry toilets, picnic areas. It just lacks a barbecue area and a water point to make it a little paradise of the Bauges. More info via this report: https://youtu.be/ePqCzYGvqas. No water nearby... or else go 1/2 hour away, to the [->5960] (direction Col de la Verne via the combe), a small geological curiosity in the hollow of which sometimes flows a small stream where some buttercups grow. Water to be treated preferably (and watch out for slippery ground!).
