From Gelon directly west, or by taking the detour via La Cave and the balcony trail "des Pissus".
Occupied by a shepherd, roughly between 20 June and 20 September. Summer pasture for sheep (water to be treated). Small single-room cabin with two bunk beds arranged at right angles on one level; the right-side bunk also serves as a bench, along with a table and a small bench. Hang mattresses (old) and blankets (antique) on the cords, as well as food supplies, otherwise...mice will take care of the cleaning. Broom, shovel, saw almost useless: hazel branches on the right bank of the stream, but in excellent condition and not at all inclined to dry. Small, worn-out stove, very decorative (see previous remark), voracious and efficient but...(see etc.). Adequate insulation. The cabin is located on a small inclined plateau, below which the valley is interrupted by a very steep rocky barrier; therefore, winter access may present some difficulties, either via the "lower" route (many gullies on the right bank), perhaps less so via the "upper" route via La Cave; the left bank, being steep, is exposed to cornice falls along the entire ridge from Pointe des Arangles, with prevailing winds being NW/SE.
