Three possible access routes. Maurienne side via Teppe Verte, the Col du Champet and the sentier de la Richesse trail which descends by turning left. From the Vallée des Huiles, via the forest tracks of Prévieux or Champenet (recommended), a marked path leads to the hut.

The protective metal sheet on the upstream side outside the hut is no longer secure; it has been propped up as best as possible, but a few screws could help. Stream 50 m further along the path.
