La Rochette then le Mollier then la Grande Biole. Follow along the mountainside towards the pointe du Rognier. Or 1h50 from the parking lot of Prodin, towards the east, via forest paths. There is a trail (not marked on IGN top25 maps) that leads to the chalet de la Grande Montagne du Verneil, below it.
Non-guarded refuge, always open, with about ten spots and firewood. An axe but no saw. A stove. A gas cooker... without gas. A fountain in front of the door. Often frequented by hunters (who originally built it). Phone network: some report it works with Orange, otherwise you need to move about sixty meters west by climbing the small grassy hill, at the top of which there is a modest signal (Orange) but usable.
