On foot from the chalet de l'Arbesserie via an unmarked path. Or from the valley floor, a somewhat rough forest track allows access (uncertain viability, danger) to the parking area. It is possible to drive there with a short and sufficiently high vehicle (e.g., Saxo) to the parking area. The drive from Argentine takes about 40 minutes at top speed.
- Unreliable water source: a pipe installed by herders supplies water. After a storm, the fountain may run dry for an hour, then flow again with good pressure. - A stove is present, similar to the one at l'Arbesserie. - No mattresses: straw on the upper floor, quite dark, on a wooden floor. - Poor insulation: drafts. - Wooden floor. - One large table and 3 benches. - A worn broom, 2 axes, and a poker.
