At the end of the forest road (drivable). The fork is 2 bends before the Montoutin parking area.
A single dark and uninviting room. 1 or 2 large mattresses, a large table. Some graffiti and hunting/livestock mess lying around. On the trail leading to "Beau Pays", then the faint path joining the ridge just above it, there are a few steep sections where slipping is not recommended. The "Beau Pays" chalet no longer exists (3 planks flat against a tree). On the ridge, towards the 2076 point, you then join the official trail of the Tour de la Lauzière, which passes by the 2086 m marker and descends towards Arbesserie. This section is not marked on topographic maps but is clear and straightforward. It does not appear to be possible to reach this trail from the Col de Ripariz due to rocky barriers.
