Access

On the South-East side (Albertville side), park at the Raffort parking lot (approximately 1250 m). A 4x4 track climbs to the Col de l'Alpettaz in about 1 hour, then you descend slightly into the alpine pasture to reach the chalet.

Good to know

- Insulation appears fairly adequate (though gaps are visible here and there, but I did not sleep there) - 2 tables + benches - 1 stove and cooking plates - 2 pots and some cutlery - 3 saws - Sleeping is on the upper floor without mattresses, for about 8 people maximum - No water nearby, but in a North-West direction (next to the woodcutter's cabin) there is a small stream.
