In the Bauges national hunting and wildlife reserve, located in the eastern part of the massif, on a ridge below the Pointe de Chaurionde, dominated by the Pointe d'Arcalod, above the Nant Fourchu car park at the end of the road from École, in the upper Chéran valley. The GRP of the Bauges massif passes through the Orgeval valley and the upper Chéran valley. 2h walk and 600 m of elevation gain from the Nant Fourchu car park in École-en-Bauge. * Hut "hotel" located at the edge of restricted areas access to Chaurionde via the ridge now in restricted area. New hut inaugurated on 7 September 2022 in an old ONF forestry house. Staffed from 8 May 2024 to 15 or 30 October 2024 depending on weather conditions, with activities and events offered by the park and its partners. It has 14 beds in rooms of 2 to 4 people with showers, toilets and meals. 70 to 85€ for half-board depending on the period (56 to 68€ for children under 12) + tourist tax (0.8€/night/person) + association membership (2€/night/person). Full board for an extra 10€. No accommodation possible outside the staffed period.
