From Grosio in Valtellina, by road or in 4 hours by trail. Caution: the Val Grosina is narrow, space is scarce, so access is controlled against summer car invasion by a progressive toll system (like airports) at each end of the road! It is therefore advisable to go up without a car, or otherwise be prepared to pay the toll.
What used to be a local open on request with keys at the town hall has been modernized and turned into a comfortable hostel. -small dormitories -Showers yes, with hot water -accessible by car yes -disabled access -WiFi connection -Half-board rates between €35 and €45 in 2013 The hostel opens in principle at the beginning of June until the beginning of October, but it is better to call to confirm.
