The don Luigi Ravelli bivouac shelter is an unguarded hut located in Piedmont. It is managed by the Club Alpino Italiano - Sezione di Varallo Sesia and belongs to the public domain.

From Alagna-Valsesia on the right bank, take the track towards Col d'Olen, which passes notably by [->4076] and climbs via the Scarpia alpine pastures to the Pianmisura hamlet. From there, the track gives way to a trail that heads WSW, skirts the Cultiri alpine pasture and climbs through scree where the path sometimes disappears, finally heading due S on the small ridge (handrail) where the shelter painted in pale yellow is located. There is therefore a 1300 m elevation gain over 8 good km.
Shelter made of painted steel sheet in pale yellow, typical Italian shape, i.e. half-barrel, with 12 bunks with mattresses. No heating, water must be drawn from the small lake located 100 m to the SW.
