Located on the Tour du Mont-Viso, at the foot of Viso Mozzo in Italy, on the eastern slope of Viso. Overlooking the Po Valley.
Refurbished refuge. A hiker's hub, without criticism. At the foot of Mont-Viso, beside 2 Italian lakes: Grande di Viso and Costa Grande. In this refuge, a reserved room with a name on the door: PATRICK BERRAULT. Surprise in the morning with sunrise over the Po Valley, as well as tame ibexes. Overnight rates including dinner and breakfast: 41 euros, excluding CAF and CAI. Excellent meal, we were served the renowned soup (minestrone) by our Italian friends. However, the shower is payable otherwise it is freezing...! There are 25 places in the winter room. More information can be found on the refuge's website.
