The Rifugio Città di Chivasso is a guarded mountain hut located in the Piemonte region. It is managed by the Chivasso section of the Club Alpino Italiano.

Access

From Aosta, take a bus via Valsavarenche to Pont (do not confuse with Pont Canavese!). Take a path (no. 12) that rises quickly behind the grocery store, then 600m of elevation gain and a beautiful 5km valley.

Good to know

Tariff(2012): 16€ per person. 6 winter hut places (unguarded). More comfortable alternative: Rifugio Albergo Savoia (1km north).
