The Giuseppe Lampugnani bivouac is an unguarded hut located in the municipality of Courmayeur, in the Valle d'Aosta region. It is managed by public authorities.

Located at the base of the southwest spur of Pic Eccles, which crowns the upper part of the Brouillard Glacier, with the adjacent col of the same name. Access involves ascending the entire Brouillard Glacier (unless descending from the Peuterey ridge), which is rated at least AD (crevasses, seracs, etc.), or a mixed rock/ice route if coming from [->1590]. In any case, expect 6, 7 or 8 hours depending on conditions.
Steel structure in a half-barrel shape with 6 sleeping places on mattresses with blankets, replacing the old bivouac in 2011. No heating. Water is available as snow or ice. A "double" structure, [->6454], with 9 sleeping places and identical features has been built further down.
