The refuge-bivouac of Lac de Luseney is an unguarded cabin run by the Reboulaz family. It is located in the municipality of Torgnon, in the Aosta Valley.

The starting point is in Nus (a village downstream from Aosta), where you take a departmental road climbing in switchbacks to the north towards the municipality of St Barthélémy. Just before reaching Lignan, turn right until you reach the hamlet of Praz (1756 m), at the entrance of which you leave your car. A farm track continues north to the Champlaisant alpine pasture (1927 m), beyond which you continue almost flat on the right bank of the valley. In the past (1978), you had to manage where the stream divided into multiple branches, to cross as best as possible by fording and reach the other bank where the path continues north. Ignore a left-hand fork (towards the Cuney chapel) to reach the Crottes alpine pasture (2389 m), where the track steepens and finishes with steep switchbacks up the glacial lock closing the valley. In the meantime, do not take the path that branches off to the right towards the Tzan (Fenêtre) pass. You will arrive at the edge of Lac de Lusenay, where the refuge stands.
This small stone masonry chalet replaced the half-barrel metal prefab (dedicated to Franco Nebbia, who moved to the Cogne valley) which could accommodate at most 6 people.
