From Tavascan, drive north on the paved road towards the ski resort. Park at Quanca, where a track continues down the valley and the paved road starts to climb. Continue on foot along the track northwards until 1680 m, at a right-hand bend where a sign indicates a horizontal path to the left. After 10 minutes, a footbridge crosses the stream to reach Pleta Palomera. The hut is located 200 m to the right at the top of the grassy area.
Hut dating from 1982, in very poor condition. A chimney, a lower bunk that is not flat, no door, sticks to prevent animals from entering. A dirty blanket is inside and can be used as a curtain for the door at night. Holes allow a stick to be inserted to serve as a curtain rod ;-) Mobile phone reception is excellent here.
