From Tavascan, drive north on the paved road towards the ski resort. Park at Quanca, where a track continues into the valley and the paved road starts to climb. Continue on foot along the track northwards until 1680, at a right-hand bend where a sign indicates a horizontal path to the left. After 10 minutes, a footbridge crosses the stream to reach Pleta Palomera. Follow the good path along the left bank for 40 minutes to reach the cabin.
Former pastoral cabin open to hikers. A sleeping platform for 6 people, with moss. The fireplace has been blocked off and a stove installed. Outside, a grassy marshy area with an unimproved spring.
